NOTD: Sweet 18

   Cei care îmi citesc blogul ştiu că pe 8 ianuarie mi-am serbat ziua de naştere, mai exact majoratul. Mulţumesc tuturor celor care mi-au urat la mulţi ani. Gestul chiar m-a bucurat. :)

   Deşi am fost super ameţită şi nu am făcut poze la tot ce ar fi trebuit, de exemplu, machiajul care era  cea mai bună încercare de smokey eye, şi îmi ieşise foarte bine pentru cât mă pricep eu, nu am uitat să-mi pozez unghiile. Asta poate şi pentru că le-am făcut cu o zi înainte :-??.

   Dupa muuulte modele văzute pe Internet pentru a mă inspira, am ajuns la modelul acesta. Nu ştiu cât a durat să-l fac, însă am pierdut mult timp cu el. Am avut parte şi de o grămadă de peripeţii: am vărsat tot borcanul cu sclipici pe mine şi pe laptop, am atins oja de un milion de ori (când nu era uscată), am greşit modelul şi m-am făcut ca o purcică pe mâini =)).

   În cele din urmă, am terminat modelul, şi am fost mulţumită de el. Plus, invitaţii le-au admirat şi ei, şi sunt sigură că le-a plăcut modelul. 

   Everyone who reads my blog knows I celebrated my birthday on the 8th of January and now I'm 18. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. This made me happy.

   Even though I was light headed all day and I didn't take photos of everything I wanted to, for example, my eye makeup, which was the best smokey eye I've ever managed to do, I didn't forget to take photos of my nails. Maybe this happened because I took them one day before.

   After seeing a lot of nail designs on the Internet, to find something that would inspire me, I ended up doing this one. I have no idea how long did it take to ba made, but it was a lot of time. I've also done a lot of silly things, like overthrowing the glitter jar, touching the nail polish while it wasn't dry or drawing on the wrong finger.

   In the end, I finished, and I was pretty pleased with it. Beside, my guests look at my nail design and seemed to like it. ^^

   Tomorrow, I think I will post some photos of my birthday and do a Haul with my presents.

   Aceasta este o postare raidă în care vă spun că nu voi fi prea activă zilele următoare şi îmi cer scuze pentru zilele trecute, dar a trebuit să mă pregătesc pentru acestă zi.

   Din păcate, nu vă pot invita la mine, dar vă trimit tuturor o felie de tort virtuală. Nu-i aşa că arată senzaţional tortul ăsta?!

   This is a quick post in which I am telling you I won't be too active the next days and I apologize for the last days, but I had to prepare for this day.

   Unfortunately, I can not invite you over, but I send to everyone a virtual piece of cake. Doesn't this cake look amazing?!

2012 Retrospective

   M-am gândit că ar trebuie să scriu şi eu o postare de genul ăsta, în care să vorbesc despre evoluţia blogului meu şi despre activitatea mea.

   Deşi se presupune că e vorba de retrospectiva anului 2012, activitatea mea pe blog a început din septembrie, anul trecut, deci, voi vorbi mai degrabă despre ultimele patru luni.

   I thought I should write a post like this, in which I should talk about the evolution of my blog and my activity.

   Even though this is supposed to be the 2012 retrospective, my activity on this blog started on September, last year, so, I will actually be talking about the last four months.

   În 2012 am reuşit să ţin primul meu giveaway, am schimbat adresa blogului din xtinna-dark.blogspot.ro în crissiesmind.blogspot.ro şi am reuşit în felul acesta să pierd vreo 60 de vizitatori zilnici, din 80, dar sper să-i recuperez în timp ^^ . Tot anul ăsta am reuşit şi să fiu activă pe blog, ceea ce nu am reuşit în timpul încercărilor de mai demult. Nu ştiu dacă aţi observat, dar am şters şi postările dinainte de septembrie, păstrându-le doar pe câteva care aveau legătură cu ceea ce este Crissie's Mind acum.

   In 2012 I managed to have my first giveaway, I've changed the blog address from xtinna-dark.blogspot.ro to crissiesmind.blogspot.ro, which led to losing 60 visitors from 80, but I hope to get them back soon ^^. Also, in 2012 I was more active on the blog, a thing I didn't manage to do when I tried in the past. I don't know if you've noticed but I also deleted those post before September, keeping just a few related to what Crissie's Mind has become.

   În aceste 4 luni am reuşit să fac un număr de 21 de modele, dintre care 9 de Crăciun şi 7 de Halloween. Sper să apară toate în colajul de mai sus. Preferatele mele au fost:
   In these 4 months I managed to do 21 nail art designs, from which, 9 are Christmas themed and 7 Halloween themed. I hope they are all in the collage above. My favourites were:

   Aş vrea să încerc să fac şi un top 10 al ojelor preferate în 2012 dar nu ştiu dacă o să mai am timp. Mai vedem.

   I would like to try making a Top 10 favourite nail polishes of 2012 but I don't know if I will have time for that. We shall see.

Favorites: December 2012

   Nici nu mai ştiu când a fost ultima dată când am făcut Favoritele lunii, dar, din moment ce decembrie era ultima lună din an, am zis că ar fi cazul.

   I can't even remember when was the last time I posted the Favourites of the month, but, since December is the last month of the year, I thought I should probably do.

   Cerceii cu Moş Crăciun au fost foarte solicitaţi în a doua jumătate a lunii, iar ceilalţi în prima. Trebuia să port ceva în spiritul Crăciunului, nu?

   I've worn the Santa Clause earrings almost the entire second half of the month, and the others on the first half. I had to wear something Christmas themed, right?

   Crema cu gălbenele de la Plafar este una dintre cele mai bune ever! Deşi este foarte grasă, o folosesc seara (într-o cantitate foarte mică), şi iarna este salvarea mea. Faţa mea arată bine, nu se mai exfoliază urât, nu mai e uscată. Pe lângă asta, poate fi folosită şi ca balsam de buze şi multe altele. Nota 10 pentru această cremă!
   The marigold extract cream from Plafar is one of the best! Even though it's very oily, I use it every night, and this is my salvation on winter time. My face looks great, it doesn't look dry anymore. Beside this, it can be used as lip balm and for many other things. I LOVE it!

   M-am reîntors la prima mea mare dragoste în materie de parfumuri: Hello Kitty. Ambalaj drăguţ, miros frumos. Îmi place.
   I went back to my first perfume love: Hello Kitty. Cute package, sweet flavor. I like it. 

   Oja roşie cu sclipici mi-am dorit-o atât de tare încât era imposibil să nu apară în favorite. Lacul de la Miss Sporty probabil că o să apară în fiecare lună, dar acum, la câte modele am făcut pentru Crăciun, era neapărat să fie menţionat! :)
   I wanted so much this red glitter nail polish that it had to be in December's Favourites. The top coat form Miss Sporty will probably be part of each month's favourites, but now that I've made so many designs for Christmas, it was necessary to be listed here! :)

   Nu eram pe deplin convinsă că o să-mi placă rimelul Colour Style de la Avon, dar până la urmă nu e  atât de rău. Este destul de pigmentat, ceea ce îmi place, şi nu prea îmi lipeşte genele. Balsamul de buze de la Nivea este foarte bun în perioada rece.
   I wasn't really convinced I will like the Colour Style mascara from Avon, but, in the end, it's not that bad. It's pretty pigmented, which I love, and it doesn't stick my eyelashes together when I use it. The lip balm from Nivea is really good on this weather.

   Luna asta am avut vacanţa, motiv pentru care am reuşit să citesc în sfârşit ceva pentru propria mea plăcere. Am citit primele doua cărţi din Jocul minciunii, scrise de Sara Shepard, şi pot să spun clar că mi-au plăcut ambele cărţi. Nu-mi amintesc care au fost ultimele cărţi citite la foc automat, ca să zic aşa. E genul de carte care m-a ţinut cu sufletul la gură pe tot parcursul poveştii. Acum trebuie să aştept a treia carte şi nu ştiu dacă sunt în stare. Vreau să aflu cine e ucigaşul! :)) Poate mi-a plăcut atât de mult şi din cauză că demult nu mai luasem o pauză de la poveştile cu vampiri, fantome şi vârcolaci. M-a adus înapoi la realitate :)).
   Because it's holiday, I finally managed to read something for my own pleasure. I've read the first two books from The Lying Game by Sara Shepard, and I can say I loved them both. I can't remember when was the last time I've read two books so fast. It's that type of story that makes you think "what's going to happen next?" until the end. Now, I have to wait for the third book to be released in my country and I don't know if I can wait anymore. I wanna know who's the killer! :)) Maybe I liked them this much because it's been a while since I took a break from reading vampire, ghosts or werewolf stories. It took me back to realty. :))

   Ştiţi deja că mi-a plăcut foarte mult. Nu puteam să nu menţionez Hobbitul.

   You already know I loved it. I couldn't forget to mention The Hobbit.

   Păi asta e cam tot ce mi-a plăcut mie luna trecută. Sper că nu am ratat nimic. Bye. :)

Haul: What I got for Christmas 2012 Part. 2

   Vă spuneam în prima parte a haulului în care vă prezentam ce am primit de Crăciun că va fi şi o partea a II-a dacă totul decurge cum trebuie. Ei bine, azi am primit pachetul cu bunătaţi de la Albastrik, câştigat la giveaaway-ul pe care l-a organizat de Crăciun. Deşi a ajuns mai târziu, am considerat că e adus tot de Moş Crăciun. :)
   Nu mă aşteptam să câştig ceva, dar se pare că devin mai norocoasă. Poate că 2013, chiar va fi un an mai bun! :)) Mulţumesc pentru premiu Albastrik.

   I was telling you in the first part of the haul in which I was presenting you what I got for Christmas there will be a  second part if everything goes right. Well, today I received the package with all the goodies from Albastrik, that I won at the Christmas giveaway she had. Even though it came later, I thought it can be called a Christmas present anyway.
   I didn't expect to win anything, but it seems I get more lucky lately. Maybe 2013 will be a better year after all! :)) Thank you for the prize Albastrik.

• The Avon Naturals set with strawberries and white chocolate, which smells delicious.

• Mascara de la Avon Super Enchant şi un magnet de frigider. Am o colecţie impresionantă de magneţi de frigider aşa că acesta a fost bine venit.
• Avon Super Enchant mascara and a fridge magnet. I have an impressive collection of fridge magnets so this one was welcomed.

• Avon samples.

• Şablon de unghii şi ruj verde care se face roşu. Aţi observat că şablonul se numeşte chiar Cris Nails? :))
